PanGlobal Educator Community of Practice
A community of practice (CoP) refers to a group of people who genuinely care about the same real-life problems or hot topics. The group members interact regularly to learn together and from each other. A CoP is key to improving the performance of the group members.
CoP members consist of both individuals and organizations who are interested in establishing a common practice. The CoP is a collective social practice that links individuals together in pursuit of knowledge and performance excellence.
Communities of practice are created by people who engage in a process of collective learning in a shared domain of human endeavor. CoP groups can consist of institutions, associations, instructors, and often students, as well.
